The marketing of cultural tourism faces a dilemma between maximizing the economic return and nurturing the culture’s social functions. It needs to attract segments driven by cultural motifs, through a differentiation based on authenticity. Perceived authenticity changes over a time, but how it does remains elusive to researchers. Bakalaura darbs ir veltīts īpašvārdu, reāliju, metaforu un idiomu tulkošanas stratēģiju izpētei. Darba mērķis ir veikt komparatīvo, kvalitatīvo un kvantitatīvo analīzi korpusam, kas sastāv no četrām grupām – īpašvārdi, reālijas, metaforas un idiomas, franču-latviešu valodu kombinācijā, lai noskaidrotu, kuras stratēģijas ir vispiemērotākās to tulkošanai. Korpusa izveidei tika izmantotas divas grāmatas – Žila Verna grāmata « Astoņdesmit dienās apkārt zemeslodei » un tās tulkojums, ko veicis Andrejs Upīts. Bakalaura darbs sastāv no divām daļām. This work deals with corpus-assisted research into speaker ideological positioning in the language of diplomacy. It concentrates on the resources used by the foreign minister Margaret Beckett to construe the speaker “orientation” (Lemke 1992) through the analysis of the main participant in the discourse that is international community and the subject matter being debated namely terrorism. The findings have shown assertiveness and determination from the speaker by the use of contractive mechanisms. Summary The psychopathologic profile of mental disorders is very diverse and psychotropic medications used to treat them differ in their chemical structure. Nevertheless, these drugs share these four characteristics: delayed onset of clinical response, not one of them can be said to cure, there is a high number of non-responders, and the mechanism responsible for their therapeutic action is not known. Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is a very distressing experience for children and requires a special effort of adjustment. Therefore, it seems to be crucial to explore coping resources for the experienced risk condition. In this sense, the study focuses on coping strategies and locus of control in children with ALL during the treatment phase, and on their possible relation. The correlation between children and maternal coping strategies is also investigated.
